Motley Crue – Legacy

Motley Crue is one of the defining bands in all of rock music. Forming in 1981, and celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, the band helped usher in a new sound in the 80’s.  Whether you call it glam metal, hair metal, heavy metal or hard rock, Motley Crue was an originator at it. Mixing the sounds of their musical heroes from the 70’s with the heavier vibes of the day, they produced some of the best music from the decade of decadence. Their shows were red hot and legendary starting with bassist Nikki Sixx setting his boots on fire during concerts, vocalist Vince Neil riding motorcycles on stage, drummer Tommy Lee and his rotating drum kits, rollercoasters and even bungee jumping from the rafters, all elevating their performances beyond simple concerts. Leading to the sale of over 100 million albums worldwide and solidifying their place in the rock ‘n’ roll pantheon. This simple tee is Bestseller online and a clear no-brainer as the latest inductee to TheSocietees Rock T-Shirt Hall of Fame™. So why is this shirt in high demand?

Motley Crue – Too Fast For Love

Too FAst For Love Album

Too Fast For Love Album

The debut album Too Fast For Love which features their classic song Live Wire, was originally a self-released album on the band’s own Leathur Records. Upon selling out of the original 900 copy stock, they were picked up by major label Electra Records and the album received worldwide distribution. The simple black and white photo of Vince Neil in leather on the cover emblazoned with their Red block letter logo is one of the most iconic images from the era of 80’s rock.

Fun Fact:  Motley Crue has changed the graphic of their logo for the release of every album. Instead of maintaining one recognizable logo throughout their career, they have made a career out of reinventing their identity.

Motley Crue Vintage Band Logo Men’s T-Shirt

The simplicity of this tee is what makes it so great. This t-shirt is a crew neck regular fit in graphite gray heather fabric with a vintage style worn print of the original red Motley Crue logo from 1981. Just like their debut album the red logo and grey background of the shirt are in stark contrast. It’s clean, simply, and classic. Sometimes you want to make a statement and you don’t want any bones about it. This shirt does just that!

It’s understandable then, that the Motley Crue Vintage Band Logo Tee is one of our bestselling t-shirts and as the 7th inductee on The Societees Rock T-Shirt Hall of Fame™.

“Taking a Bite out of the Market: The Dominance and Appeal of the JAWS Brand”The JAWS brand dominated the market, much like its namesake dominated the ocean in that classic Spielberg film. That shark was a magnificent beast, a relentless force of nature, just like the brand has been. The movie was a thing of…

“One Man Army: Unraveling the Phenomenon of John Wick”Spot me out on the fact that we don’t have badasses like John Wick in our movies anymore. The brawny, swift yet silent man single-handedly taking down armies of enemies – ah, the thrill! Wick ain’t just a character folks, he is an embodiment of raw action,…

“Channel Splitters: The Undying Popularity of Beavis & Butthead”Right off the bat, let me tell you something about Beavis and Butthead. Straight-up legends, those two. Always perched on their battered sofa, in their worn-out tees and tattered jeans, they were the embodiment of how simple yet infinitely hilarious life was back in the 90s. These…
